Remi's rescue story:
I was surrendered because I wasn't getting along with the other dogs in the home. I was supposed to go to a foster with no other pets, but that didn't happen (PS If you have no other pets and are interested in fostering - hit up HBR's Foster App because they ALWAYS need homes with no other pets for fostering!) Anyway, so I'm here at The Diva Dog House with a gazillion other doggos...and turns out, it ain't so bad.
I was surrendered on New Year's Eve..... New Year, New Life. Right?

Big Sexy Arthur tries to woo me. Not interested, bud. You're too old for me. And what's with the blanket sucking? Weird! Can you swipe left in real life?
Because there's 2 other megaesophagus dogs in the house, The Blonde Lady pretty much recognized my symptoms immediately. I need to be fed upright so that gravity pulls the food down to my stomach - my esophagus muscles just don't worky
But until we can afford a Bailey Chair..... it's hamper time!!!!!!
OK I love sleeping in the hamper after eating. It's sooooooo comfy!!!!
Everyone loves the hamper....,
Mondays - am I right?
I helped screen some apps before building my new Bailey Chair!!! Thank you Toni for making this happen!
It took me a whopping 3 days to learn how to get in my chair on my own. #NailedIt ! You can find my picture in the dictionary under "Genius"
4/24/2019 Update: Remi went in for a second entropion surgery. For this surgery the doctor froze off Remi's eyelashes so they do not grow back in and scratch her eyes. Below are some photos of Remi pre- and post-surgery. She will be in a cone for about 2 weeks as she recovers from surgery.
