What to feed....

If feeding a commercial food, you must constantly be vigilant about formula changes and recalls. Our list of recommended foods may change based on changes within these companies or based on continuing education of nutritional needs.

Raw/Homecooked
  • Answer’s Pet Food (raw)
  • Kure Pet Food
  • Solutions Pet Products
  • All Provide (raw or cooked)
  • Steve’s Real Food (raw)
  • OC Raw
  • Bones & Co.
  • Dr Harvey’s  (base mix with raw or cooked protein of your choice)
  • Dr Judy Morgan PupLoaf (click here for recipe)
  • Ziwi Peak
  • Rawbble
  • Stella & Chewy’s
  • Vita Essentials
  • Primal
Kibble
  • Farmina

We do not recommend "grocery store kibble": (Rachel Ray, Purina, Ol Roy, Iams, Eukanuba, Kibbles n Bits, Nature’s Recipe, Blue Buffalo, etc etc).

We do not recommend "veterinary diets" (Purina, Hills, Royal Canin) – Please seek out a HOLISTIC consult if your vet is recommending using a prescription food. If you do not have a holistic vet nearby, many vets offer a phone consult.
