Mooshu
Quick Bio:
Status: Pending Adoption
Age: Approximately 10 months

Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Curious and a little overexcited, but with slow intro and patience she would probably do fine with a cat.
Good with kids? Still evaluating, but will likely need to go to a home with older kids or no kids
Medical: Overall healthy; no medical issues. She will just need to be spayed after her heat cycle is finished.

MooShu's rescue story:
MooShu was purchased for a sole purpose - to make money. The family's intent was to breed her and make money off of puppies. One of our rescue volunteers who was dog-sitting her suggested the family surrender her to our rescue. The wife was willing, but the husband was adamant on breeding her. But then MooShu went into heat. Females in heat are messy; they can be cranky too. She became snippy with one of the five children in the home, so they put her in a crate..... for three days. A crate smaller than the ones I use for our Franchies. She was not let out even to go to the bathroom. She ate, slept, urinated, and defecated in that tiny crate for three days straight. During that time, the rescue volunteer who dog sat her convinced them that surrendering would be in the best interest of the dog. She was on a poor quality grocery store diet, she needed vaccines, and a lot more care and love that they could or would provide. Thankfully, they signed her over. At first she was a pretty wild child. But within a week, she has completely calmed down. She was residing with our rescue volunteer, her young (calm) child, and two Boston's. She excelled in potty training and basic training.
MooShu was surrendered without a collar or leash. Thank you to Max & Neo for your collar & leash donation box! We did some quick shopping at Three Dog Bakery during our event to fit her for a harness too.

MooShu goes to the vet!
MooShu meets a cat....
she's very curious and a little extra, but overall I think she could get along with a cat with a proper intro and initial supervision...
