Only one day after we welcomed Tuxedo Pete from the shelter, we get a phone call that another bulldog has been surrendered. That's 4 dogs in 4 days. It's raining bulldogs and we're drowning!
Please share our social media posts and help us gain more fosters so we can help more dogs!

This girl definitely has some eye problems that will need to get addressed ASAP.

Welcome Minnie.
Our vet had a cancellation for tomorrow they just offered to us. So grateful. We’ll post more tomorrow.

Minnie got a nail trim tonight.
She gives it a -50 / 10. do not recommend
but the doggie lift makes it easier

Minnie’s turn at the vet! Great news, her cherry eye looks significantly better after two weeks on an antibiotic drop drop. Now We are starting a steroid drop to try to shrink it a little bit more. We didn’t want to start with that in case she did have an ulcer underneath that cherry eye, hence the antibiotic drop first. Swelling has gone down tremendously from her spay as well. We still want to wait a while before putting her under to spay though just to be safe. We are starting her on some supplements for her bladder health. Her urinalysis on intake looked OK, but she is still peeing frequently and seems to strain a bit. No issues were noted on the ultrasound at intake either, so we’re going to start some supplements to just improve overall bladder health and monitor how she does. She’s continuing to gain much needed weight, her fur is looking better, and she’s starting to show her personality. She is so spunky and playful! We definitely think she’s much younger than the shelter estimate of 5. We’re thinking she’s closer to 2 actually.
Pupcups at home!!!!

Can we have eggs  and bacon  for breakfast ?

Miss Minnie will be getting spayed and her cherry eye fixed next Monday. Then she’ll be ready for adoption!!

Minnie does get along well with other dogs, but would do best with just one 2 other chill puppers. Or of course as an only dog. She LOVES human attention. She also loves food! She’s put on some much needed weight as no longer SkinnyMinnie! She’s about 90% potty trained now/ crate trained now. She knows how to sit and is learning “down / off”. She’s come such a long way so fast. She just needs her own home to get comfortable in and feel safe.
Minnie gets along great with her little Frenchie foster sister!

My surgery went great! But now I’ve got this stupid thing for 2 weeks!  (no, we cannot use a donut cone. The eyes must be protected)

Headed to the vet for a check up on my eyeballs! Good news - my cherry eye looks like it’s healing nicely. Bad news- i don’t actually get HBO in this thing. - Minnie
