Medical: Mammary masses, deaf, splenic mass, will stay with the rescue for remainder of her life.

10/09/23 - Sylvie ended up in a shelter at the age of 10 years old and we couldn't say no to her. She was very underweight and her skin and ears were a mess. The shelter thankfully started treating her badly infected ears, and her foster mom got her started on a raw diet to get her skin issues under control.

11/27/23 - We knew Miss Sylvie had a couple mammary masses… And her lymph nodes seemed a little swollen… a very quick ultrasound showed she’s just riddled with masses internally. Miss Silvie has now become a hospice foster. She’ll live out her days with us being spoiled rotten. We don’t really know how much time she has left. Splenic masses can be very unpredictable. We’re starting her on some medication for pain, acid reflux, and nausea to try to help make her as comfortable as possible. We will be very vigilant to make sure we always consider her quality of life. So long as she appears to be happy and pain-free, we’ll just keep spoiling her.
