Welcome sweet Luke.
Luke is 8 years old and came to us from Tennessee. Luke’s human mom is very sick with cancer and had to find a home for Luke quickly. Her family pulled together to get him up to date on vaccines and heartworm tested and into Rescue.
He will see the Good Dr B Monday for a complete senior wellness exam , and then be neutered on Tuesday.
Luke needs a family that promises to be forever. Losing your mom and best friend of 8 years can’t be easy. He’s already had a session with Coryelle Kramer Metaphysical Expert- we asked her to reach out to him and let him know what was happening and that it would all be ok. She will be sending him healing during this emotional time, and send love and light to his human mom as she transitions on from this world. He’s understandably very sad right now , but we are going to spoil this baby like crazy. We love you one eyed Luke (oh yea he has one eye ❤️❤️❤️- he’s already been good with our dogs and ignored the cat, but we will do a full eval in the days to come)

I kept peeking in on him all evening - he’s sound asleep snoring. I wanted to give him some time to decompress.
We just went out to sniff around and explore. Lots of new smells. I’ll be spending the night in the guest room snuggling with him
