Age: 3 years
Breed: English Bulldog
Weight: 38 lbs.
Potty Trained: Mostly, still has some accidents
Crate Trained: Yes
Dogs OK: No, needs to be an only pet
Cats OK: No, needs to be an only pet
Medical: must remain on a cooked diet for her skin.
Intake Date 11/26/22 - Welcome Hilda to Hoosier Bulldog Rescue 💗 This girl is just 3 years old and has quite a few issues going on. “Rare/exotic” color bulldogs tend to have many more skin and health issues that even previous bulldog owners aren’t prepared for. We’ll run some labwork and get her on a fresh unprocessed diet. She’ll need a lot of work but we can’t wait to see her transformation. So happy her family reached out to us for help. Donations towards her medical care are appreciated.

11/27/22 Update - Ate my first raw meal of My Pet Carnivore with Golden and Green Juju last night. Delish!
Picture
11/29/22 Update - Hilda is very timid but so sweet. She's in such rough shape. She has a vet visit today.

12/1/22 Update - Good morning from Hilda! She's showing more personality, is less itchy, and definitely less pink!

12/10/22 Update - Hilda is looking so much better! She has a recheck next week. She'll be ready for her own foster home after that while she waits for her eye surgery!

12/19/22 Update - Hilda can go to a foster home while she awaits her eye surgery!. She can be a big of a resource guarder over toys and food, but she's potty/crate trained. She needs 1-2x weekly baths for her skin and daily eye drops. Please fill out a foster application if you're interested!

5/12/23: I have some good news and some not so great news. Good news is I’m finally gaining weight! Like 4 whole pounds! I’m on a cooked diet now. And my skin looks great!
Bad news, my cherry eye surgery was not successful and I need a second surgery. :( Please consider donating to Hilda's care.
