Hi! My name is  Flo!
As you can see from my photo, I’m a happy girl!
I am an approximately 1-3 year old female English Bulldog. I’m scheduled to be spayed end of July. I weigh approximately 60 pounds.
I’m currently still Heartworm positive, but undergoing treatment! I am currently available to foster , or as a foster-to-adopt while I finish treatment. Other than that I’m overall a very healthy girl now. I was in super rough shape when I came in, but I’ve come a long way! I just need a couch to sleep on and a human to smooch. I would love show you my cute little wiggle! Fill out an adoption application to get the process started!

January 25th, 2023 - Miss Flo was pulled out of the TRUNK of a car and dumped at the shelter. She was bleeding from her mouth and vulva. The shelter took her to the vet immediately where they gave her a 50% chance of survival. She was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia. She may have open pyometra, but she’s also has a severe case of heartworms. She’s currently on a ton of meds, including antibiotics to try to stabilize her. I’ve already started a Chinese herb that helps stop bleeding. And we’ve already pulled out our book Yin&Yang from @drjudymorgan to get started on some good recipes to increase healing. I’ll start reviewing her records from their vet and get her into ours asap. Hopefully we don’t end up at the ER but we do want to give this sweet girl a fighting chance. She seems very young and super sweet. She just wants to cuddle! We’ll need a foster for her once she’s stable. Please consider making a donation to help with her care. We have a lot of medical expenses coming our way.

March 9, 2023 - Flo's labwork and overall health has improved immensely. She did go into heat, so we are now aware she is not spayed and will need to be spayed once she has recovered from her heartworm treatment.

June 27, 2023 -  Flo went in for her spay appointment and dental but it was discovered she actually had another UTI. We treated a mild UTI not long ago. She had no symptoms, however the follow up to see if it cleared up showed it definitely did not. Sooooo urine sample has been sent off for a culture. Her spay and dental has been pushed back until July while we get that taken care of. Any donations to help with her additional medical expenses would be greatly appreciated!
