Age: 2-3

Breed: English Bulldog
Potty Trained: No, but improving
Crate Trained: Yes
Good with other dogs: Some
Good with cats: Yes

Other info: Pippa is selective of other dogs. Although she gets along well with the resident dogs in her foster home, she does not always get along with new dogs. She also is shy and does not like to be out at events or around a lot of new people.
Adoption fee: $500

Kate and Pippa are approximately 2-3 year old siblings who came to us after their parents got divorced. However, they are NOT BONDED and will be adopted out separately. ** Update: Congratulations Kate on finding your forever home!!! Pippa is still available!

It is clear they had been neglected and abused for quite some time before being surrendered. Both have skin infections and hair loss, as well as significant ear infections.

Kate & Pippa's first vet visit at Healthy Paws Animal Hospital - only an hour after rescue;

Day 1 in rescue!
Bloodwork came back and great news - they are negative for Heartworm and Tick Born Disease! And fecal shows no parasites! whew!

10/26/2017 Healing Session with Metaphysical Consultant Coryelle Kramer

Kate: "I feel lighter in my chest... I keep a lot of tension there and it's gone! It's a wonderful feeling."

Pippa: "I feel so much better....not so trapped in my mind. Thank you explaining about being safe now and that they will help me to find the home I deserve. Please let them know I appreciate them and what they're doing, It can be overwhelming when you aren't sure what's going to happen."

The ultimate goal of Rescue is to match the right family and the right dog. We put a LOT of effort into this matchmaking process.
But sometimes it just doesn’t pan out like you expect.... Kate and her new bullie brother just weren’t hitting it off. Her new family did everything right. They reached out to us immediately when they sensed there may be a problem. They brought in a great positive-based trainer to assess the situation. Ultimately, we all felt maybe it just wasn’t the best fit after all.
So Kate will be going back to her foster home to review some more applications. If you think you may be the right match for this princess , please fill out an application on our website.

Hoosier Bulldog Rescue wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Erin and the staff at California Closets of Indianapolis for taking collections this holiday season for us! Your donations will make a huge difference with our rescue! We appreciate you!
Erin delivered the donations and Pippa exchanged them for some hugs!

I don’t understand why I’m being asked to pee outside when there’s a perfectly warm house with a pee pad down inside it. Just sayin. #PippaDoesntDoSnow
